Message from the Director
Welcome to the Miami Valley RCFL's (MVRCFL) Web site. Although we are scouting a permanent location to house the laboratory in downtown Dayton, we are fully equipped and prepared to accept requests for digital forensics assistance and training from our law enforcement colleagues within the designated service area.
Each RCFL is a partnership between the FBI and an assortment of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies that willingly join the RCFL Program for the purpose of strengthening their region’s digital forensics capabilities. Operating an RCFL requires strong teamwork on the parts of the participating agencies who donate personnel to work in the laboratory. The MVRCFL's participating agencies include the Dayton Police Department, the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory, and the FBI.
The MVRCFL staff are eager to assist their law enforcement colleagues throughout the Miami Valley and Dayton areas with meeting their digital forensics and training needs This facility belongs to everyone – and we hope that our colleagues will not only utilize the many high quality and unique services we have to offer, but will join us in this important effort.
